Cooking with Gaga

In June I took the boys to their Gaga's house so they could make yummy Rice Krispy treats. It was so much fun getting to watch them all.

First we melt the butter.
Time to add the marshmallows. Stirring Gaga helping to make sure nothing sticks that isn't supposed too.
Liam just wants to taste.

Family Visit May 2011 ... Californa to Arizona with Love

In May we had a wonderful visit from the California Crew. It was a first meet in greet for some cousins and a reunion of sisters for the rest of us. Lots of love went with them when it was time for them to return home but we were thankful for the time they were able to spend with us.

Aunt Krista and Liam...Kris was in HEAVEN!

Sister dears; Arin, Jessica and Krista

After a swim we stop for a quick photo with Popie.

Spending time with Daddy

The boys love their time they get to spend with their daddy. Andy makes sure that every moment spent is quality since the quantity fluctuates depending on where we are with formation and his work obligations. I love to watch him with the boys...he's such a good daddy!

Andy took apart an old VCR that no longer worked to get out the tape that was stuck in it. Hadrien wanted in on the fun and let me just say this boy has a very mechanical mind and boy is he meticulous, not to mention talented with a screwdriver...guess it's time to hide them ;-p

Ultimately they took out every little screw that made the thing work and all were placed into the purple cup...there were A LOT!

Just another night for fun pics.

Liam loves his daddy and daddy loves Liam!

Easter Bunny visits

The easter bunny visited and the boys were thrilled. While Hadrien wanted to play with the toys that were left, Liam just wanted to eat the candy...

And so another holiday has come and gone...till next year.

Easter 2011

Capturing moments at Church was tough since the boys were a little tired, but we did catch a few precious moments with Nana and daddy.
So handsome.

Hadrien was throwing a bit of a tantrum since he really just wanted to play in the rocks.

Everyone say still just long enough to capture their beautiful faces.

Hmm...a camera and a what's that over there?

He's so big now.

April 2011

In April we celebrated Easter Egg dyeing with Gloria, Justin, Gabe, Lorena, Bianca, Uncle Adam, and Nana. It was amazing spending time with everyone.

Not a bad set up.

Hmm...what's next?
Liam is more interested in eating the eggs...yummy!

I see you mom.

Some first

In March Liam got his first haircut. We were so worried that he was gonna lose the curls like Hadrien did, but it needed to be done. We also had the boys first pictures taken together. (Professional that is) Here are just a few.

Liam Before

Liam After. Amazing how a little haircut can really change the way a boy looks.

February 2011

February brought more of our everyday routines...one added bonus we had great news on Valentine's Day...we're expecting baby number three! :)

Dyeing my hair at the beginning of the month, Andy likes to give me weird hairdo's when he's in charge of applying color. Love him to death!

Baby bump already??? No, just a big meal...at least that's what I'll tell everyone. (Shhhh)

The boys love playing in the empty laundry basket. Guess it really is a treat since they are rarely empty, lol.

Look mom...I'm so BIG!

Family

The family endures because it offers the truth of mortality and immortality within the same group. The family endures because, better than the commune, kibbutz, or classroom, it seems to individualize and socialize its children, to make us feel at the same time unique and yet joined to all humanity, accepted as is and yet challenged to grow, loved unconditionally and yet propelled by greater expectations. Only in the family can so many extremes be reconciled and synthesized. Only in the family do we have a lifetime in which to do it. -Letty Cottin Pogrebi
