First Ice Cream, 2 Graduations, & Look who's standing

Simon had his first taste of ice cream this month.

Yeah...
That's good stuff!

He's also been working on crawling (mostly Army crawling) and sitting...too cute.

Here I come mom.

Where you going?

Gotcha

My niece Emberleigh had her eighth grade graduation this month as well, I remember when she was born.

Before the month is out Simon discovers how to pull up and stand. It's just a matter of time now before he is a walking tornado just like his older two brothers and he is so very proud of his accomplishment, mom and dad are proud of him too!

Happy baby!

Another accomplishment this month was that Andy graduated from his leadership classes at Kino. Two years of hard work and long Tuesday nights have been completed and we are all very proud of him!

Something was funny

Daddy explaining the Sanctuary to the boys and pointing out the Tabernacle

After all of these events Andy and I were also able to enjoy a date night, the first one in approximately 7 months, it was much needed and we had a very good time. Yea May!

Family

The family endures because it offers the truth of mortality and immortality within the same group. The family endures because, better than the commune, kibbutz, or classroom, it seems to individualize and socialize its children, to make us feel at the same time unique and yet joined to all humanity, accepted as is and yet challenged to grow, loved unconditionally and yet propelled by greater expectations. Only in the family can so many extremes be reconciled and synthesized. Only in the family do we have a lifetime in which to do it. -Letty Cottin Pogrebi
