Pick'n Pumpkins

For Halloween this year we headed out to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins, go for a hayride and get the kids faces painted. It was an awesome day and Simon did great on his first outing.

Liam enjoyed his view from the stroller.

There was even a bouncy house that the older two were able to enjoy.

Simon slept as the boys chose their  pumpkins

The boys weren't very intersted in taking pictures as farm animal's but we tried...lol

They did enjoy the hayride although Hadrien thought the tractor was, "Too loud!"

The kids were very patient as they waited in line for their turn to have their faces painted...Hadrien chose to have  and Liam went with . Mom and Simon found some shade to cool off under until the rest of the family was finally ready to head home.

Everyone comes for a Visit

After being home for a little over a week we invited everyone over for snacks and to visit with Simon and the rest of us.

All of the kids enjoyed time outside as well as in the nursery with all of Hadrien and Liam's toy collection.

The dad's relaxing on the couch.

Once again Hadrien loves to hold the baby as often as he can.
It was a great afternoon with the family!!!

Family

The family endures because it offers the truth of mortality and immortality within the same group. The family endures because, better than the commune, kibbutz, or classroom, it seems to individualize and socialize its children, to make us feel at the same time unique and yet joined to all humanity, accepted as is and yet challenged to grow, loved unconditionally and yet propelled by greater expectations. Only in the family can so many extremes be reconciled and synthesized. Only in the family do we have a lifetime in which to do it. -Letty Cottin Pogrebi
