I can't believe we haven't updated our blog in over a year...well I have no pics to post right now but I will give you all an update:
We had a baby boy...Liam Marcus Gilliland 6lbs 3oz 19in long @ 12:39pm December 28, 2009. He is just as amazing as his older brother & they keep us busy busy! Both are healthy, happy babes & Andy & I are....well....TIRED =)
Andrew is currently in formation for the Diaconate & will be starting school in the fall (God willing), he also is staying active in our parish with the Continuing Adult Education classes that he will help teach starting in August. Of course there is work everyday for him & spending as much time as possible with us when he's home.
I'm a busy stay-at-home mom still, even more so now that there are two little ones in the house. We are swimming a couple times a week, going for walks around the lake & riding bikes around the neighborhood to get out of the house sometimes. I was teaching Catechism for the 1st graders & then later the Special Sacraments classes at church before Liam got here, but I found that I am needed at home so for now that is where my focus is. I LOVE IT!!! Watching my boys grow & learn & helping with craft projects for Hadrien are highlights of my days.
Hadrien is now 2 1/2 yrs old & BUUUUSSSSYYY! He gets into everything now (so much for a baby proof house) & absolutely adores his little brother. He loves to help me cook & going with his dad on errands. He enjoys swimming with his Gaga (grandma Kathy) & going on those walks/bike rides. He helps me water the plants & oh just about everything else that I let him help with. Amazing how much difference a year makes for the things he is able & willing to do.
Liam is 6 months old already (WOW) & is my little rollie-pollie...he loves rolling all over the floor & has been pulling to a standing position since he was a month old. He is definitely a different personality than his brother...we weren't so great about getting him on a schedule so we are currently working on that...bad momma I know! He loves food just like Hadrien did & in some pics they really look like they could've been twins.
We visit with family when we can although traveling is a different monster now. So much to pack & then making sure both boys are ok in the car...they usually do great! Other than that we are home...we love our little lives...the boys are healthy & happy & that is what matters most. I will hopefully be able to post some pictures soon...a Years worth...Crazy! Love to all...the Gilliland Bunch
