July 2010

The end of July we went to Pinetop with my dad Louis & all of the aunts & uncles on our first EVER fishing trip. We didn't catch anything but rain & mud but the boys LOVED the mountains, except for when Hadrien bonked his head. It was a great trip & we hope to take it more often.
Well this is it for now, a whole year condensed into these few words/pics was tough & I'll try "try" to get on here to update more often. We will be heading to Douglas this weekend for Labor Day so hopefully we'll have some more pics to update when we get home...who am I kidding of course we will...hope you enjoy, time flies! Love & Blessings to you all!

May 2010

We went to Douglas in May...it was our first long family trip. We all really enjoyed spending time with Nana & grandpa...Hadrien loves that he can pretty much get away with murder while we're there & I love that I get to nap!

Easter 2010

We had Andy's mom, cousin Timmy & Adam back for Easter. Hadrien loved decorating eggs (again more video than pics) & hunting for eggs. Of course Liam loved being held through it all. :)

January 2010

We celebrated Hadrien's birthday & Liam's baptism on the dame weekend so family & friends could be present. Hadrien didn't mind at all...Blessings, blessings, blessings!

In betweens

Daddy & his boys have a lot of time together. Hadrien had a play date with a friends daughter & did very well sharing his crayons. Liam being cute.

Home again

Once we all came home with clean bills of health we started to balance life with 2 boys. We were lucky to have Adam (Andy's brother) with us for a couple of weeks...he was such a life saver as he helped me with both boys so I could finish healing! Hadrien spent time with his daddy & uncle playing ball & getting acquainted with his new brother.

Liam's birth 12/28/2009

The birth of Liam was a joyful event. Lots of visitors & introducing Hadrien to his brother were amazing events. Andy's whole family were able to be there which was a gift in itself & momma got some quality time with both her boys.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas Andy & I dress as Mr. & Mrs. Claus for our parish Christmas Party at Organ Stop Pizza. This was the second year we did it & hope to keep doing it for many more. We also went & decorated the trees around Angel's grave. Hadrien loves running around all the babies/kids headstones & I'm sure they enjoy the company. Hadrien also enjoyed opening his presents Christmas morning although we have more video than pictures of that day.

Halloween 2009

For Halloween 2009 Hadrien was a construction worker, Gaga (Grandma Kathy) was just wearing some mismatched clothes & I was a pregnant mime. We went to the block party with Gaga & had a lot of fun. Our pumpkins turned out GREAT & Hadrien had fun handing out candy!

Picture Time

Ok picture time, quick year in review bottom pic going up: Hadrien & me from September 09', Hadrien eating popcorn sitting on Andy (we had gone to our parish picnic that day & we were exhausted...it was a lot of fun though!), Hadrien being cute on one of our many walks around the lake, Carving pumpkins for Halloween & as you can see I am very pregnant...Hadrien wouldn't touch the inside of the pumpkin but had fun writing on the outside :)

Family

The family endures because it offers the truth of mortality and immortality within the same group. The family endures because, better than the commune, kibbutz, or classroom, it seems to individualize and socialize its children, to make us feel at the same time unique and yet joined to all humanity, accepted as is and yet challenged to grow, loved unconditionally and yet propelled by greater expectations. Only in the family can so many extremes be reconciled and synthesized. Only in the family do we have a lifetime in which to do it. -Letty Cottin Pogrebi
